Software Test Engineer (C/ C++/ C#)

As an Software Test Engineer(C/C++/C#) you are responsible, together with the team, for the improvement, development and execution of QA processes and work for the improvement and management of the quality of the various software packages that form the basis of our analysis equipment. A total of 5 FTEs are responsible for Software within the R&D team. This group consists of 1 Project Manager Software, 2 Software Test Engineers and 2 Software Developers. You report this function directly to the Project Manager Software. You job includes the following tasks:

 Co-determining the test strategy to be used;

 Translate functional requirements to use cases;

 Elaboration of test plan and test specifications based on functional specifications of the software;

 Executing test plans and test cases;

 Documenting test results and creating reports;

 Evaluate the test process with a view to improving the quality of software and test process;

 Support with the introduction of test automation.

Job requirements

 MSc/ BSc. Computer Engineering or Equivalent;

 Experiences with testing software

 Experience with the following tools: Testcomplete, Selenium, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr & experience with Agile and test driven software development

 Knowledge of the programming languages C, C ++ and / or C #;

 Preferably ISTQB Foundation certified and preferably experience with test automation;

 Affinity with chemistry & technology
