Metrology Design Engineer with data analysis experience max. € 4500 net/after tax monthly

For one of our clients, a multinational high tech machine builder, we are looking for a Metrology Design Engineer. As a Metrology Design Engineer, you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Take the lead in system level specification of different functions, like algorithms, reliability, functionality, and performance
• Troubleshooting in the factory of our client or at the customer sites
• Integrating and testing the function against the specification
• Investigating failure modes of the system and figuring out the containment that will buy time to find the root cause of a problem
• Performing feasibility studies into required improvements, by means of experiments, simulation and analysis of existing (customer) data.
• Enabling the realization of new functionality by interacting with specialist software designers in the project team.

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Mathematics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with functional specification and integration
• A minumim of 3 years of experience with data analysis and modeling, with MATLAB or Python
• Experience in design of algorithm and functional models
• Experience with the Agile way of working
• Knowledge of the software development process
