Metrology Engineer with experience in Optics or Semiconductor

As a Metrology Engineer, you will challenge topics such as semiconductor processing, architecture of electronic devices, scatterometry and mathematical algorithms including machine learning.

As a Metrology Engineer, you are responsible for the following:

• Design, develop, and evaluate In Device Metrology products in close collaboration with the customer
• Perform data analysis with models and algorithms on customer data
• Create functional design proposals for improving the metrology performance
• Participate actively in identifying future product features
• Work in close collaboration with the customer, our development partners and internal stakeholders

If you do only have a little experience, you'll be provided with adequate training.

• Background in an Optical or Semiconductor environment
• MSc or PhD in Physics, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with measurements
• Experience with data analyses and statistics
• Experience with coding in MATLAB and/or Python
• Affinity with software and algorithm
• Experience in Monte Carlo-methods is a plus
