Software Engineer (C#/WPF) / Scrum Master

We are looking for a passionate Scrum Master / Software Engineer for our Metrios software scrum team in Eindhoven with growth opportunities towards team lead. Metrios applications have been primarily developed in C#.Net with WPF as UI on Windows platform by 2 distributed scrum teams located at Hillsboro, US and Eindhoven, Netherlands. In addition to .Net, Machine Learning part has been mostly written in Python. As part of SAFe ART scrum team, you will be working in a distributed software environment, combining different technologies (primarily C#/WPF). You will report to the Manager of Metrios software project. 

• Be the scrum master of Metrios Eindhoven scrum team;
• Deploy scrum theory, practices, rules and values within the scrum team;
• Be a servant leader and maximize the value created by the scrum team;
• Join the SAFe events for scrum masters. Keep aligned with other ART scrum teams on dependencies and deliverables;
• Use Test Driven Development and Pair/Ensemble Programming to safely implement solutions, end to end;
• Promote and drive adoption of good software development practices in code and infrastructure health, quality, test stability, and maintainability;
• Regularly reflect on how to help the team be more effective;
• Learn TEM domain specific knowledge and operation to test software on a TEM;
• Working together with different software (scrum) teams, also multi-site. 

• At least 3 years’ experience in being a scrum master;
• At least 5 years’ experience in object-oriented development in a complex high-tech environment;
• Up-to-date knowledge and proven hands-on experience in C#, WPF, REST API development (including new concepts, best practices);
• Excellent problem-solving abilities: Should be able to describe a few of the hardest problems you’ve solved and exactly how you solved them;
• Experience in Test Driven Development and related technical practices;
• Desire to continuously improve processes and practices;
• Experience in multi-cultural environments.
