Validation Engineer

The validation Engineer supports R&D and Operations department with respect to qualification/ validation of all laboratory equipment (both SDLC and non SDLC lab equipment). He or she performs his/ her duties in accordance with the R&D asset management strategy. 

Participates/supports in all parts of the life cycle of laboratory equipment within R&D department; 

• Purchase (URS writing, reviewing); 
• MEL/MIL classification;
• Validation documentation;
• Maintenance
• Periodic Review 
• Retirement/Decommissioning

Coordinates/reviews SOP updates of Equipment SOPs within R&D; 
Coordinates user-access for the Equipment Share and SDLC systems
Cooperates with GLP-coordinators and Equipment Specialists within R&D (central point a contact concerning lab equipment within R&D)
Collaborates/aligns with other departments/stakeholders (e.g., R&D users, Validation & Calibration, R&D-IT, Quality Assurance, External Vendors) supporting the process of validation of R&D lab equipment.

• Bachelor level in Engineering / Biochemical / Life Science / IT  
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in qualification of laboratory equipment (Pharmaceutical Industry)
• Proactive mindset
• Good analytic and coordination skills
• Good spoken and written command of English and preferably Dutch 
• Willing to work on location 100% 
• Already living in The Netherlands and available to start on short notice (one month at maximum) 

• The first period you will be working on a Trinamics contract with one month notice period;
• Salary indication between 3500 and 5000 euro gross wages per month
• Holiday allowance of 8,33% of your gross annual salary per full year worked
• 25 holidays per full year worked + 13 extra holidays (ATV) 
• Travel allowance € 0,19 p/km
